We are delighted to welcome our guest speaker The Rt Hon David Miliband to the Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre Memorial Lecture 2019.

David Miliband, President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee, is a former Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom. As the son of refugees, he brings a personal commitment to the IRC's work.

The event will be a lecture delivered by the speaker followed by a Q&A. Please be advised that the doors will close 2 minutes before 8pm.

Notes to attendees:

- Non-ticket holders will not be permitted entry so please ensure you have booked your ticket in advance.

- There will be a bag check by security at the entrance and you will have to show your ticket and ID.

- There will not be reserved seating and organisers will guide you to your allocated entry point in the auditorium.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Attendees should be aged 16+. Complimentary tickets are available to students in full time education

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We will be providing precise location details to booked ticket holders when they have paid for their ticket. The venue will be in Highgate, London. There is free parking in the surrounding roads but they can become busy on an event night so please plan to park with good time.

What can I bring into the event?

No food or drink will be permitted at the venue.

No photography will be allowed during the lecture.

What's the refund policy?

We will not be able to refund your ticket but you can give your ticket to another person by contacting booking@smglc.org.uk. If you are unable to attend the event we would be grateful if you could let you us know in advance and we can give your ticket to a student or teacher.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event/ Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable to another person?

You can bring a printed copy of the ticket or show the ticket on your phone. Your name will be marked off a list printed 2 hours before the event.

Yes, you can update your information on Eventbrite on your account or email booking@smglc.org.uk.
